Riverside Lodge - Bed and Breakfast, B&B

Riverside Lodge is a 4 Star Guest House offering bed and breakfast, B&B holiday accommodation set in idyllic surroundings beside the River Elan, a major tributary of the River Wye and on the gateway to the Elan Valley, otherwise known as the Lakeland of Wales.

For the benefit of all bed and breakfast guests the Lodge is a totally non-smoking building.

All rooms within the Lodge are at ground level, with no steps or inclines within the building, making it ideal for guests with mobility problems.

Barry and Gill own the Lodge and aim to provide a friendly and peaceful stay in the countryside. Riverside walks, cosy log fires and good home cooking are all aimed at making your stay an enjoyable and memorable one.

The Lodge offers en-suite, double, twin and single room accommodation plus some standard rooms which share the main bathroom. All rooms offer tea & coffee making facilities, central heating, double glazing, clock radio and either a hillside or riverside view.

Additionally, hairdryers, irons and ironing boards are available on request.

A cot is also available, please enquire at time of booking.

The Lodge has its own large car park at the western end for the sole use of guests.

The guest lounge, with its large panoramic windows, affords wonderful views over the river Elan and across the surrounding countryside. With TV, Video, DVD,CD & Audio player plus a very good library of books, puzzles, games, etc.. We also have an 'honesty bar - fridge' for guests with wines, beers, soft drinks etc. for your comfort. Excellent room to chill out after a hard day 'relaxing' !!

The dining room can comfortably seat up to 24 persons and offers evening meals for groups by prior arrangement only, - home cooking with local produce is a speciality.

The Lodge now also has a Resident's and Restaurant Licence. The restaurant overlooks the river making it an ideal opportunity to enjoy viewing a variety of birds from the breakfast table.

Breakfast consist of - Cereals - Fruit - Juices etc , Full Welsh Breakfast plus Toast & assorted preserves - Tea or Coffee.

Morning coffee and cream teas can also be served in the restaurant.

For group bookings we can offer the restaurant for seminars, receptions, meetings etc.
